Position Overview  

We’re searching for an Associate Threat Response Analyst to join our Information Security team in a remote or hybrid setting from an Applied Systems office. To keep us headed in the right direction, we’re looking for people who understand winning is a team sport, who value and seek to learn from our team’s diverse experiences and backgrounds, who welcome a challenge and take risks in the pursuit of creating better outcomes for our customers, and who can, at any given time, step back to laugh and have some fun.     

What You’ll Do

• Utilize log ingestion platform for security analytics and identification of tactics, techniques and patterns of attackers.
• Contribute to creation of runbooks.
• Contribute to the production and tuning of detection rules.
• Participate in the Security Incident Response Team on-call rotation.
• Collect and analyze threat intelligence reports covering new threats, vulnerabilities, products, and research.

We’re Excited to Learn More About You  

Your experience may include:

• At least 1 years of experience conducting customer support, security and risk management activities.
• Experience with and knowledge of security (incident response, threat analysis and intelligence) and open source.
• Ability to collaborate cross functionally.
• Ability to communicate well.

You may have other skills or credentials, including:

• SIEM
• SOAR and/or other Automation experience (Python, Terraform, Ansible).
• Networking and System Admin/Support Fundamentals.
